The Conference of European Justitia et Pax Commissions is a platform for exchange, coordination and joint activities by twenty-seven national Justitia et Pax commissions in Europe. Justitia et Pax Netherlands plays an active role in this platform.

 

Until 2011, the French Justitia et Pax commission is chairman of the European Conference. At the start of 2001, Justitia et Pax Europe was granted participatory status at the Council of Europe.

 

The European Conference maintains working contacts with the Pontifical Council Justitia et Pax and other Catholic European and international institutions such as Comece (Council of the Bishops’ Conferences in the European Union), Pax Christi International, CIDSE (network of Catholic development organisations) and Caritas.
