New toolkit for training of trainers

 

 

This autumn Justitia et Pax Netherlands is developing a toolkit for training of trainers. This toolkit will be available in English and French in December 2010.

This toolkit allows local Justice and Peace commissions and interested NGOs to develop each module into a series of training courses or separate workshops, depending on the interests and needs of the participants.

Tailor-made training course

These topics were proposed by participants in the workshops on sexual violence against women and girls conducted by Justitia et Pax in the Eastern Democratic Republic of Congo in 2008 and 2009. In follow-up workshops planned for August, the toolkit will be tested and further developed into a tailor-made training course. The French version of the toolkit will be available in October. The English version will also available by 10 December.

 

Materials for the toolkit were collected during numerous workshops organised by Justitia et Pax with partners from Eastern DRC, Georgia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
