Respect for human rights is a matter affecting everyone. The Friends of Justitia et Pax Foundation enables extra activities in The Netherlands and other countries. You can support our work through a donation or bequest to the foundation. Friends of Justitia et Pax receive our newsletter four times a year.
Every year, Justitia et Pax conducts special activities that would not have been possible without the support of the Friends of Justitia et Pax foundation. These activities include:
- Public activities in The Netherlands to enhance people’s concern over human rights and to promote the importance of respecting these rights. In these activities, we involve people from various cultural and religious backgrounds. On 10 December 2008, for example, we organised the inter-religious and international convention Faith in Human Rights in the Peace Palace in The Hague, in celebration of the sixtieth anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
- Support for Justitia et Pax commissions in other countries. Thus, in 2007 we offered refuge to a Justitia et Pax staff member that was forced to flee his country.
