Bequests
You can also support our work through bequests arranged in your will.
Will
In your will, you determine to who you wish to leave your possessions. By including the Friends of Justitia et Pax Foundation as a beneficiary, the foundation will receive (part of) your inheritance.
Bequest
You can also leave the foundation a bequest. This means that you leave the Friends of Justitia et Pax Foundation a certain sum of money or a valuable possession. What is bequeathed to the foundation in this manner is exempt from inheritance tax, up to a certain amount determined annually by the Tax Administration. If the sum or value exceeds this amount, the foundation pays 11 percent inheritance tax over the total amount that you bequeath.
Information
Drawing up a will and stipulating a bequest is a precise and personal task. A talk with your notary can afford much clarification and is generally free of charge. The notary of the Friends of Justitia et Pax Foundation, Mr D.C. Rosenberg Polak in The Hague, is also available to discuss the possibilities with you. Feel free to contact him, either to make an appointment or to talk over the phone, on telephone number +31 (0)70 324 44 60.
